For specific applications different filter fabric media can be selected, including anti-static material, PTFE, specialty cellulose, polypropylene, micromelt etc. Clyde-Apac Dust Collection products use media sourced from mills in Europe, America, Japan and Australia, with many of these items manufactured to international specifications.

The filter cartridge comprises of a cylindrical star pleated polyester media, which is cast in polyurethane on both ends.
Depending on design either a diffuser plate or a wire cage is inserted into the inner cylinder, located in the clean section of the cartridge, to give added support. The top plate can either be cast aluminium or a mild steel spinning. Specially designed venturis can be supplied where design considerations justify their selection. The cartridges can be supplied for mounting on the clean or dusty side of the collector’s plenum.
